The living body has some natural urges. They are the urge to
urinate, to defecate, to ejaculate (sex drive), pass wind, for
vomiting, sneezing, yawning, hunger, thirst, tears and sleep.
Inhibition of these natural urges leads to many complications.
These complications affect digestion and metabolism which in turn
can lead to several kinds of ailments.
Similarly there are few urges which should be inhibited at all
costs. These include the urge of anger, greed, fear, jealousy,
lust, flattery, violence etc. These urges should be curbed, otherwise
they may also lead to a number of physical and psychiatric ailments.
